\u00ab\u00a0Rappels\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> des \u00c9ditions Gu\u00e9rin<\/strong> c’est la version non censur\u00e9e (et augment\u00e9e d’in\u00e9dits) de l’homme qui accompagna Maurice Herzog au sommet de l’Annapurna il y a 70 ans : Louis Lachenal.<\/p>\n

3 juin 1950 : Louis Lachenal se dresse avec Maurice Herzog au sommet de l\u2019Annapurna, le \u00ab premier 8000 \u00bb de l’histoire. Quand les deux alpinistes rentrent en France, pieds gel\u00e9s, la victoire devient \u00e9pop\u00e9e. Louis Lachenal ne s\u2019y reconna\u00eet pas. Apr\u00e8s cinq ans de silence forc\u00e9, il pr\u00e9pare un livre, presque achev\u00e9 quand une crevasse l\u2019engloutit, \u00e0 l\u2019automne 1955. C\u2019est ce livre que nous avons reconstitu\u00e9 et illustr\u00e9 de plus de 300 photos, souvent in\u00e9dites. Pour red\u00e9couvrir un g\u00e9ant de l\u2019alpinisme, virtuose et si moderne.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, il est temps de faire un pas de plus au-del\u00e0 de la pol\u00e9mique, et d\u2019\u00e9couter la belle voix \u00ab a cappella \u00bb de Lachenal. \u00ab\u00a0Rappels\u00a0\u00bb s\u2019approche au plus pr\u00e8s du livre que Lachenal avait commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9crire dans les derniers mois de sa vie : tous ses textes, et seulement ses textes. Car leur puissance et leur beaut\u00e9 brute n\u2019ont pas pris une ride. Ils sont accompagn\u00e9s par un appareillage de notes, textes introductifs, et par des dessins et documents de l\u2019auteur fournis par sa famille.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Lorsque Michel Gu\u00e9rin et Frederik Paulsen se rencontrent en 2005, ils partagent aussit\u00f4t leur amour de l\u2019aventure et des livres.
